The ELISAVA Decoding Research Group made its annual internal presentation to the evaluation commission on 8 July 2016. It presented the work completed between September 2015 and July 2016 by the group’s researchers. Thesis papers, articles and the Beta version of the creative Decoding Toolkit were also presented.
The first contains the thesis proposals of doctoral students Blanca Guasch, Beatríz Martínez and Alba Pinzolas and the “Conscious Ergonomics” papers by Dr Marta González, Dr Anna Maria del Corral, Blanca Guasch, María Araya and Javier Peña; the “Creative Decoding Toolkit: analysing the creative process in design practice” by Alba Pinzolas, Dr Raffaella Perrone, Dr Danae Esparza and Dr Javier Peña and “Ontology in the Design Process” by Beatriz Martínez and Dr Javier Peña.
The beta version of the Creative Decoding Toolkit (CDT) project, an online tool that offers the possibility of determining and comparing the creative skills profile of people (students and/or professionals) throughout the world, was also presented.
The presentation was made to a committee of external evaluators including Josep Anton Planell, Juli Capella and Lluís Torner, also attended by Ramon Benedito, Jordi Cortada and Albert Fuster.
